Okay, I actually am not a big TV watcher (anymore), nor do I even
drink beer. And therefore am not trying to sell anything here. But I
am a designer and I do like to look at culture. Was that a
disclaimer? I think it was.
I was explaining to someone about not hiding boxes everywhere in the
building your renting during an event (unless you got an okay).
Anyway, this ad came to mind. You may have seen this one already but
this AD for Bud Light aired with the Superbowl, and I think it has
it's place within this group.

When I saw that ad during the Super Bowl all I could think of was "yikes, a
letterboxing gathering gone bad".
Too funny!

Fascinating, this ad brings back memories. Memories of a time a few years
ago in eastern CT before the "Courant Article". It was a time when news of a
new box posting was acted upon almost immediately with some (including
myself) going out even into the dark to be the first finder of these new
boxes. There were some fights, some biting, crying, but in the end there was
laughter and fellowship. We are a more civilized people now and have not the
need for first findership. Our developed letterboxing ways have purged the
yearning of first findership from our emotions. Through meditation we have
found peace withourselves and with each other.

Turning that commercial, in my mind, to a letterboxing experience is so much fun. It's hysterical. Thanks for bringing it up.
